Growing up in the NW gave me a passion for the outdoors. I started getting into photography in 2005. I would take my camera everywhere. I've taken it all the way from the South Pole in Antarctica up to the top of Mount Rainier in Washington.
My first camera that had manual functions was a Fujifilm S5100 digital camera. I then moved onto a DSLR and went with a Pentax K100d. I loved it! I then upgraded to a K10d. After the Nikon D90 came out and was the first to be able to shoot video, I had to have it. I sold all my Pentax gear and got the D90. I loved that camera but then technology started to get a lot better. After using the Nikon D90 for 7 years it was time to upgrade. I decided to go back to Pentax and ended up with the K3. I absolutely love it! It is very well built and should last me a long time.
